Pear

A Still Life drawing of a pear. This is the first time in a long time that I have use “color” in my drawings. I’m trying something new here, instead of color pencils I’m using Crayola crayons to create this piece, my favorite modern artist Lee Hammond said that you can use crayons to create professional pieces so, I decided to give it a try.

Wow, I didn’t think I’ll finish it as quickly as I thought and I’m actually happy on how it came out, can’t wait to do more drawings in color using Crayola crayons, these babies can be use for more than just coloring simple “Coloring books”.
Reference goes to :”Amazing crayon drawings with Lee Hammond.”

A portrait drawing of actor Josh Hutcherson, best known for playing Peeta in “The Hunger Games”. I really hate that my scanner made Josh’s face whiter than it should, it tends to “ignore” the really light shades of the graphite pencil or just blends it in with the whiteness of the paper…oh,well **shrugs**
