Peeta2

A portrait drawing of Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark from the film “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”. I had wanted to add a background, but I wasn’t happy on what I could come up with so, I’ll just leave it as is and maybe add something later if anything comes to mind, cause I usually suck at doing backgrounds.

Butterfly

Butterfly

A Still Life/Nature drawing of a Butterfly done with the use of Crayola Crayons. Credit for the reference photo goes to Lee Hammond’s “Amazing Crayon Drawing”. I’m not really pleased with it, the real thing looks better though, the scanner once again did not bring out the best of what the drawing has to offer. Perhaps, I would have done a better job of the drawing have I not been so sick and my concentration divided, but I just had to work on something, I hate going for days without drawing at least something! Anyway, I’m feeling much better now and hopefully my concentration on the next drawing will be much better.

Jasper10

A portrait drawing of Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Whitlock Hale from the film “Twilight”. I really dislike how my scanner doesn’t always catch all of the lighting of the drawing correctly, especially when the skin tone is light and the scanner turns it white. Oh well, hopefully in the near future we will see scanners that can capture even the lightest skin tone or shadow areas. In order for the drawing to stand out a little, I colored Jasper’s eyes the vegetarian “golden” vampire eye color.
